About Me I want to Create an awareness of a need. The Silver Alert Program, is such a need. While this is for California, there is a group that are pushing congress to approve a NATION WIDE PROGRAM. The system works off the AMBER ALERT SYSTEM. Only for adults! Adults with a cognitive impairment. For when they leave their safety zone (Homebase or place where directive assistance is readily available). As the law is written now, 48 hours must pass before a search can begin. Those at risk, need to be found within the 24 hours, it's critical, as is with children.
