About Me	Where do I start to describe myself and make it interesting? I'm a very bubbly, positive and out-going girl. I like to think I'm tough but I can be a real softie at times. I'm a bit of a tomboy, and love to be. I'm happiest mucking about with my horses or hanging out with my brothers or out with my dog. I love animals and wish I could do more to help those animals that suffer cruelty. I've just rescued a very sick mare and her yearling foal so hopefully I can give them a great quality of life. When I'm financially secure I will put this wish into action in a more meaningful way. For now I can just support animal sanctuaries. My favourites are the Shambala preserve in California http://www.shambala.org, The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee http://www.elephants.com, The Irish Horse Welfare Trust http://www.ihwt.ie here in Ireland and the Irish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals http://www.ispca.ie, also here in Ireland. I love horses more than any animal in the world, my dream was always to own my own horses and I still can't believe that it's come true. So, why not combine that with my wish to help animals in need and open a farm for horses in need? How cool would that be? There are many horses in Ireland who are sadly in desperate need. I abhor and despise animal circuses, they should all be closed down because exotic animals do NOT belong in the circus ring or chained in cramped travelling cars or tents. It's a good job and allows me time to spend with my animals. I love people- I love to chat and hang out and have fun. I have 2 younger brothers and we are all part of a small but tight-knit family. What else can I tell you about me? I love walking my dog, I love to horse-ride, read and play my Playstation. I love music and movies and am a bit materialistic when it comes to my CD and DVD collection. I blow most of my spare cash on CDs. But I guess there are worse things to splurge on. :) I'd love to travel and see the world but it's not an option right now as I'm tied down with work. And a severe lack of cash. But I'll do it someday. That's it! For now!

If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by	Erradicate all 3rd world debt. The rich countries can easily afford to do this and it would make an unimaginable difference to the poor countries- it would mean life to so many people wo are dying needlessly. I'm all for MakePovertyHistory!!!
What/who changed my life and why	Angels'a Ashes by Frank McCourt. It's one of the best books I've ever read, really life altering stuff! Terribly sad but terribly funny at the same time! I'd recommend it to anyone especially if you're interested in Irish history around the 1950s! I also recommend the fantastic gripping HBO 2nd world war series Band of Brothers. For anyone interested in war films and documentaries this is a must. For people in general watching this show is a humbling experience that brings home the stark and horrific reality of war and how much these brave soldiers sacrificed to save us. The Chronicles of Narnia is my favorite series of books from when I was a child, I've reread each book scores of times and love them so much. I'm so thrilled that some of the books are being made into movies.
