I go by my nickname Maggie.
I have done a fair amount of traveling spending the last two winters in Costa Rica now that I am newly retired on Social Security. I am looking to fulfill my bucket list number one: A cruise to the capitals of the Scandinavian Countries as well as Tallinn, Estonia and St Petersburg, Russia. The sites can be toured without the expensive 'cruise tours' but Russia requires mandatory guides to leave the ship. Most cruises spend two days in St Petersburg and there are cruise sponsored tours for the two days for about $300 .
I am a fairly quiet person. I don't 'party'. I don't smoke, I don't gamble. I like to cruise and have the security of the ship at nights. I like figuring out with a few cruise members how we can enjoy each port without doing the standard 'tours' other than in Russia. See above.
I am very frugal, but this is my bucket list.... I like to be in the pool, walk around the ship, read, a little tv but not all the time on. I like to explore if I feel safe. I was a hard worker for many years as a psycho therapist. I have two healthy grown children. My partner does not have this trip on their bucket list.
I am so grateful for being alive and not encumbered finally by having to work. I live simply and frugally but well. I am enjoying boogie boarding in Costa Rica, and am thinking of parasailing before leaving in April
I am a peace dove except for Hitler types. I am disgusted with the one percent dictating policy. I want seniors to be able to live on Social Security wisely and healthfully.
What Gives Me Hope
Every beautiful day.

Stop the imperialistic perspective of this country. Get out of wars in other countries and bring back the jobs here. Stop the Republicans from dictating policies by filibusters.
What/who changed my life and why
Viktor Frankel... in spite of his being in a concentration camp, he found purpose in life and added others.
