And then, make sure all government officials had an education in Planning (Urban and Regional Planning, Environmental Planning, Community Planning, etc) or AT LEAST make our leaders take some professional competency exam. The popular vote just isn't getting us anywhere positive. Our national leaders don't have a holistic, long-term view of their decisions or their consequences and are guided by their own self-interests and agendas - not what is mutually beneficial to all groups of people or to a long-term goal of environmental, economic, and social prosperity.
What/who changed my life and why People change my life everyday. But the most famous person I can point to would be David Attenbourough. His lifelong dedication to environmental education and activism and the child-like wonder with which he approaches life are inspirational.
