Hello, I am 43 years old and the mother/stepmother of 4 children.  I am married to an awesome man who took on the role of father to my 2 children when they were very young and who has been a positive influence ever since.  I have a cockatiel named Ruby and two dogs, Maverick who is a German Shepherd and Samantha who is a yellow lab.  I have 5 fish.  My goldfish is now 6 years old! To me...that is a very long lifespan for a fish, at least one that I've had.  I like to waterski, LOVE chocolate, like to do things with my family, photograph nature, goof around on the computer and I wrote a children's novel quite a few years ago and am still contemplating possible publishing.  I guess you could say I'm a bit of a procrastinator!  My favorite season is Spring.  I love to hear the birds chirping and see things beginning to sprout and grow. I care deeply for animals and would not hesitate in any way to save them from some of the cruelty that I'm seeing in the world today.  I feel helpless as one person signing a petition but am hopeful that by sending them to friends and family, I might be able to make a difference.  I have a strong faith in God and thank him for many miracles that I have seen in my life.  I love to garden and spend time with my family and my pets.
