About Me I am a nurturer by nature (no pun intended lol). I have enjoyed - literally to the "nth degree" - being a mother for the last 19 1/2 years. If I could do it all over again - I would - just to be able to enjoy every single moment for a second time.

I also have a huge heart for children and animals, and my heart cries out everytime I see or hear about a poor little child or helpless animal being abused. Although I am only one (disabled) person - I do try to make a difference for as many abused/neglected/abandoned children and animals as I can.

My Philosophy Everything in life happens for a reason, and regardless how painful or horrible an event in your life is, something good WILL come out of it - but sometimes you have to get a little time between "now" and the event to be able to realize it.
What Gives Me Hope My daughters; Those that help others for no reason other than just to lend a helping hand.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Make sure everyone had health insurance regardless of their financial or social status.
What/who changed my life and why My 5th grade teacher, Mr. Carson, because he totally gave up on me. He told my parents in a meeting with them that I would never amount to anything, and I'd never graduate high school, much less go to college.

That drove me to do everything I could to prove him wrong - and I did :-)
