I'm single, and pretty good lookin', if I do say so myself!
I'm a 51-year old proud Grand-dad, father, lover of Sri Sri Krsna, all paths of Sanatana Dharma, in particular most forms of Vaisnavism, chanter of Namu-Myoho-Renge-Kyo, observer of Chaos, Erisian, musician and composer
My spirituality has been rather "dark" by some peoples' standards, and I have little patience with pushy religionists of any stripe. If you are a believer of any faith and wish to pray for me, please do. If you believe yourself to be an evangelist for your particular faith path and wish to preach at me, or try to convince me of how "wrong" I am, I hope you will forgive me if I ignore your bombast and change the subject. I believe the the true Supreme Absolute, by whichever Name one uses (and there are many) requires us to think for ourselves. Mindless spiritual slavery is for the herd. Any deity that would require me to surrender my brain at the door, ignore inconvenient truths, and blindly accept what I cannot, and will consign me to some state of eternal punishment for not accepting some whole package of doctrine, even for refusing to mouth some trite "acceptance" phrase, is not worthy of my worship. You may disagree, but there it is. I will not be consigned to your concept of "hell" by whichever standards you apply, whether Christian, Muslim, Jewish, or any other faith path that has, as a component, some concept of eternal punishment, and your fear of such will not make it so.
As an aside, I have to wonder how crowded certain places will be, with major faith paths busy consigning all others to "hell" for not towing some particular party line. ("Yes, but," you will say, "all the others are wrong, and only we are right.")
I am also a die-hard techie, and geek -- I support Macs, PC's, and PDA's both for a living and for fun, and have all three up and on at home at all times. (Obviously, I prefer my Mac, but there are some developers that either are not equipped to provide Mac versions of their software, or will not do so for whatever reasons), and, for those things I use my PC.... of course, at work, I am obligated to use a PC for everything, but, hey.... it's their gig, their rules, and their equipment, so whattayagonnado?)

Reasonably rational lunatick; am 53, look 40-somethin' (or so I've been told), feel... well, depends on what time of day it is.
My kids are grown, so there are no (2-legged) children in the house, but we do like kids! (We meaning my 28-year-old daughter with whom I share my house - she's a great roomie!)
Probably better spoken of in private, don't you think?
My Philosophy
"Inheritor of a Dying World, we call thee to the Living Beauty.
Wanderer in the Wild Darkness, we call thee to the Gentle Light.
Long hast thou dwelt in Darkness --
Quit the Night and seek the Day."
--Ritual of the Neophyte
Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn

1) If one needs religion to justify a stand, the stand is not justifiable.
The converse is also true.
2) The more I learn, the more I realize I don't know so much.

You wouldn't want me as a political leader. Trust me.
