It's not up to the mayor, the pres. or any other dreamed up savior to make this world a better place, so I'm just going to work it out with you all instead.
What/who changed my life and why
So many powerful events, the tragic ones seem to have left the deepest mark, sometimes the way of growing. Every book I read is an event--the power of the word has a deep effect on my life, yet the written word is only a dim reflection of reality. A single note from a single voice can change the world. The creative process--courageous acts of others, the hand of a stranger in a time of need--these things have changed my life.
