Wild Fact About Me	I have two(2), double jointed thumbs, and my index finger on on my right hand is also double jointed. -- eeew, uh not what you were expecting huh? LOL! ;-)
My Philosophy	My philosophy isn't "mine", per-say, but the ethical principles of Dr. Mikaomi Usui, a late 19th thru 20th century Shingon-Buddhist Monk & Teacher. Dr. Mikaomi Usui's Reiki Principles are what guides my every nuance, breath & day, and those Principles are: "JUST FOR TODAY, I WILL NOT WORRY" "JUST FOR TODAY, I WILL NOT BE ANGRY" "JUST FOR TODAY, I WILL LIVE HONESTLY" "JUST FOR TODAY, I WILL RESPECT THE ONENESS OF ALL LIFE" "JUST FOR TODAY, I WILL BE KIND TO EVERYONE I MEET" "JUST FOR TODAY, I WILL GIVE THANKS FOR MY MANY BLESSINGS" - Mikaomi Usui was born in the village of Yago in Gifu prefecture in Japan on August 15, 1865; where his ancestors had lived for eleven generations. His family belonged to the Tendai sect of Esoteric Buddhism. Mikaomi Usui passed from this 'world into the next, on March 9, 1926, while in Fukuyama, he died of a fatal stroke; he was 62 years old. - Dr. Mikaomi Usui had a profound near-death experience in 1903 in which he experienced visions of -- and instruction from -- Mahavairocana Buddha, the Great Central Buddha. This was a life changing experience for Usui that caused him to make a major reassessment of his life. He developed a keen interest in the esoteric science of healing as taught by Buddha, and he developed the compassionate wish that he may learn these methods in order to benefit mankind. Today, what we, in the West have gained from Dr. Mikaomi Usui's life-long quest to provide a simple, laying-on-of-hands healing system for even the non-Buddhists of our present-day World, are the spiritual precepts & attunements of Reiki, and it is this healing modality & it's principles, which governs my daily philosophy towards ALL life on our planet.
What Gives Me Hope	I have hope, when I see organized religious leaders and various government leaders perform selfless and random acts of kindness towards 3rd World Nations! - To me, this is an expression of their humanity, of which our humanity I firmly believe is of the highest essence of the light, and love of which we can reflect outwardly to others - it is simply, in our humanity that the most accurate expression of the Mother God & Father God can be found than anyplace else within our societies.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by	I would remove the element of Capitalism as an obstacle for every person on this planet to receive quality healthcare. One hundred years ago or so, working as a doctor was a very-noble profession, one sought by those with heartfelt desires to heal humanity where/when possible. Yet today, that nobility has been erased by the Supreme Ego, which seeks to supplant this ideal with "medical well being", for the physician's socio-economic aspirations to own multiple luxury automobiles, multiple estates, all-while experiencing a grand lifestyle at the expense of the many people he/she otherwise, took medical oath's to endeavor to heal thru applied medicine for the good of everyone. Due to Western society's glamorized lifestyle for medical practitioners, the patient, the family, and society as a whole are the ones that suffers needlessly with a medical condition that could be cured, and instead is treated with Rx medications as a proxy bandaid for their health conditions, rather than as a permanent solution. Pharmaceutical Drug Companies, and Insurance Companies are the absolute worst in this 'devil may not care, medical carousel that generates more revenue in it's sales of Rx medications, than these same companies expells in actually curing anyone of a medically defined illness and you have to ask yourself here, who's truly the beneficial individual here - You? or the Pharmaceutical Conglomerate Companies and the Doctors of Western Nations? All of this is a serious, serious, travesty upon the pre-20th century medical practitioners; practitioners weilding medical knowledge and medicines that were painstakingly acquired by these early pioneers of the international medical community! Today's knowledge of various dis-eases and other medical conditions were painstakingly procured by the foundations of ancient medicine in much older societies and cultures with more venerable wisdom than our present-day medical practitioners cares to expell or exercise regularly in their pursuit of fostering wellness with today's patients! If I were President of the United States, I would eradicate the current socio-economic methods upon which the American Medical Association derives it's wisdom and make it mandatory that each citizen was afforded preventative and primary medical & dental care without additional taxation upon private citizens to make this a reality!
What/who changed my life and why	The book that changed my life was the "Mists of Avalon", by the late fictional author, Marion Zimmer Bradley, and my life was changed because thru the storyline in her novel, I realized, that none of us can always hope to reach all of our goals or ideals in life, but if through these efforts, we can influence or direct at least one, lost, and depressed soul on this planet by leading them 'thru our own examples of love & compassion, they can eventually, heal themselves from their emotional or physical dis-ease into a more positive, optimistic and healthy place of reality. If we can influence & have a positive impact on one person's life for the better, then all of our life-long desires for wanting to heal ourselves & our planet in this same breath, will have been worth every minute of our lives we invested towards these endeavors.
