About Me	Hi! :^D Welcome to my web site at Care2.com! This is my piece of the 'Virtual Universe!' Look around and get to know me a bit! Well, you know what I look like by my picture! :^) I still like to play in the Drit...I ride a Mountain Bike, I have three fish tanks, I fly kites, Music is a very BIG part of my Life...I'm teaching myself to play an Electric Bass, and I'm doing very well so far! I listen to a lot of music: Jazz, Blues, R & B mostly. My favorite Jazz band is "The Pat Metheny Group." The Bassist for the Pat Metheny Group: Steve Rodby, is one of my Top Bassist! I LOVE my Sci-fi!! I watch the the Sci-fi channel often! My all time favorite Sci-fi movie is, Arthur C. Clarke's "2001: A Space Odyssey." And I must mention my #1 Monster: GODZILLA! :^D Also, I'm a Star Trek fan! I have watched all of them and I'm Old School...Captain Kirk is #1 with me!! Now that is 'Classic Sci-fi!!' I'm also a Big fan for the 'Kung-Fu' movies! I have been watching them ever since Bruce Lee made his frist movie, "Fists of Fury." I study the Soft form of Kung-Fu: Tai Chi Chuan. I currently have my Black sash in the 1st degree! I attend the Master Gohring school of Tai Chi. www.taichitom.com & www.MasterGohring.com :^) I like to watch Sports! Football, Basketball, Track & Field, Hockey. I'm a very Big Oakland RAIDER fan! "Hail to the Silver and Black! Go RAIDERS!!" I cheer for the San Antonio SPURS! And I follow the Colorado AVALANCHE! My favorite book is Herman Melville's, "Moby Dick." What an adventure, What a Story, What a Whale!! Like any man, I love a Good Meal! I've eaten food from many cultures. And my True Love is 'Sea Food!' If it is wet, I have tried to eat it! :^) I enjoy watching the Steve Harvey Show! The cast fits so well together, the Humor is great and the Comedy is first rate! Speaking of Comedy..."The Blues Brothers" is one movie that I can and have wacthed over and over again! :) I Retired form the United States Navy Submarine force in 1995! I live in Austin, the Capital of Texas, in The Lone Star State. I'm the Deputy Executive Director of the Church of Scientology of Texas.
