Hi everyone and welcome to my page!
My name is Erin(aka Ahshratiger,Ahshra,orErinmarietiger when I'm online) I live a sustainable/eco concious life on a co-op farm/ecovillage in Kalamazoo MI-
www.lakevillagehomestead.org. I am a massage therapist and bodyworker, I own a business that provides very affordable massage, so, that more people more often can receive massage! I believe that massage and other complimentary and altrnative medicine is not just a luxery, rather a necessity for balanced health and healing!! I also am an animal lover and supporter of animal rights and the rights of all people and our planet!! It is no surprise with the lifestyle I live and my long standing love of designing things, that I am an aspiring eco/sustaiable fashion designer taking my insperations for my line from the 300 acres of nature surrounding me and my experiences interacting with it! About Me	I am an eco concious,healthy,happy person!(I am an evolving work in progress) I love animals, I live on a co-op/ecovillage with free ranging pigs(they are very smart/curious),chicken(are crazy),cows(keep to themselves),horses(smart and graceful),goats(superduper friendly),peacocks(noisy but beautiful),ducks(funny),cats(I love them),dogs(are cool) and 300 acres of beautiful wildlife! I have one horse of my own named Reno(he's sweet) and a cat named Millie(she's trouble!) I am a massage therapist(graduated from KCHA, one of the top 10 MT schools in the U.S.A.) I learned alot about taking care of myself, so, I could be of assistance in taking care of others! I love to learn and experience life, I believe in making the best of every situation and opportunity, I try to always be my best and to be positive. Life for me is about listening to my intuition, making the right choices for me and following my heart! I have had many steps forward and many steps back in life, and I've learned that this is how I learn! Wild Fact About Me	The bull got out at the farm one time and the farm manager was gone, so, I managed to round him up myself! A couple other guys were there but I guess they were too afriad to help, cause they just watched and said they didn't know what to do. I got some grain and walked up to him, he started following me, but faster and faster, pretty soon I was running and he was trotting behind me. I got him back in, but in hind sight, it might not have been the greatest idea!
My Philosophy	Always give your personal best to every moment! Be kind to yourself and others!
What Gives Me Hope	The beauty of nature!
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by	wow, I would do a lot of things, one would for sure be to create a really good universal health care system with CAM therapies included as treatment and preventative options!

Earth Day 2009 is on April 22. This isn't just any Earth Day. It's the 40th anniversary.
