THE ANIMALS' VOICE

Telling Americans how much I care ~
Hoping with others my feelings to share ~
Expressing my love for animals everywhere....

Around our nation animals suffer and die.
Neglected, abandoned, discarded pets cry.
I think of them, and I ask the Lord, "Why?"
Millions in shelters are "put to sleep."
Aware of these, I often weep.
Lifeless bodies piled in a heap....
Spaying and neutering can play a part.

Versing my feelings, I pray is a start.
Overpopulation of pets is not smart.
I speak out for the animals' plight.
Compassion I feel for the animals' right.
Every pet deserves a long lifetime bright!
