My Philosophy Too intricate to put on a little thing like this....Extremism in any direction is allways wrong, the truth (or whats right) is usally in the middle and balanced. There are absolute truths,however.
What Gives Me Hope HOPE ABOUT WHAT? That humans will finally get their brain working right, before much more horrible crap goes down? (IE. Gorillas go extint. Milions more kids starve to death, or are slaughtered. Tons more die in wars over outdated mythological religious dogma,or oil. The USA crumbles under the weight of multiculturalism or unethical capitalism. Humanity devastates the earth.)? Well, Not much. Hey were lookin at 7 billion people soon, how many are edjucated, moral, ethical, empathic......you do the math. I think the HUMANISTS may be sorely dissapointed. I guess I can Find some hope in the majority of people on this website, and that there are groups like the ones represented herein. Also Nature kickin our asses, and Science.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by 1. Make medical care free to all citizens. 2. Make education, up to the highest levels, free to all citizens
What/who changed my life and why Edjucation and gaining knowledge changed my thinking and views in my pursuit of rationalism, and truth. Marijuana, LSD, and Mushrooms. for eye opening enlightening perspectives, done rarely. As for books heres some Honorary mentions..."Tao of Physics" by physicist Fritjof Capra.
