I'm 60, currently not in a one to one relationship, but I have no wish to grow old alone.

I'm a simple stay at home sort of person ~ though I love the odd party, who enjoys listening to music ( 50's - 80's modern music and classical ), good food ( I'm a trained chef ), and watching movies on the tv in front of a roaring fire ~ when I've got someone to share the experience with.

I like my food ~ European with a touch of the Levant, and light spicey Asian. I tend to vere towards Chardonnay rather than the reds that I enjoyed in my youth.

Just had the results of an MRI, and it seems the dizziness and headaches that have been bugging me for the last few months are most likely due to a TIA... that brought home the bacon with a bit of a bang! Carpe diem good people.

Hair is now grey, but funnily enough I prefer it to the red/auburn that it used to be.

Cor! Worn out.... it's going to take me 60 years to get over this amazing week.

The Phantom of the Opera was wonderful. The tea at the Athenaeum Hotel was to die for. The pub crawl that I've been taken on went on for far too long!

Thank you all for the Birthday wishes. The eCards. Everyone who showed up at Her Majesty's Theatre, those who swamped me with presents... to say nothing of the enormous amount of chocolates ~ I know I'm fond of the stuff, but I'll be eating them for months!

Can I just say a big Thank You to everyone who has sent me a green star, and offer my apologies if I didn't get around to thanking you in person.

I do try to get onto the Care2 site regularly, but sometimes I either don't have the time... or I'm a bit too tired to go through all the star messages.

Trust me though they are greatly appreciated. I tend to use Butterfly credits to give clean water... to my mind it is the most essential human need of all.

Thanks to everyone who added a cup of decent drinking water to someones life.
