About Me	I'm a mother of three grown children and I have grandchildren. I have a keen interest in our nations politics especially in regards to environmental issues. I like to grow herbs and native plants. I have an open mind but I don't tolerate any form of cruelty. I'm a good friend, and a good listener. My life is very full with family and friends. My Philosophy	I believe in live and let live as long as you hurt nobody or any thing.
What Gives Me Hope	Having my grandson Evan defend my choice to be a vegetarian when my brother Rob gave me a hard time about it. Evan was only 5 at the time!!!! I also think it inspires hope for this world when the big business of movie making actually makes an Acadamy Award winning film like Happy Feet! If you have never seen it, let me tell you the theme of the entire movie is about the effects of overfishing our oceans. How wonderful it was to see the message sent out across the world, but in the same time, in a way that all ages would enjoy watching. A must see for EVERYONE I believe. It is a great opportunity to discuss this subject and others with young people and you know what, I bet there were many parents, and grandparents who took the children to this movie that learned something themselves!
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by	clean up our environment and encourage recycling. I would like to offer free neutering for pets so we could eliminate the need for shelters.eliminate all factory farms, gm crops, pesticides and herbicides. i would make the laws equal for hurting/killing an animal the same as if they were a human.i would make it mandatory for all schools and institutions to serve vegan/vegetarian meals. holistic medicine would be the first line of help for all ailments. make holistic medicine the mainstream medicine taught in med schools. socialize medicine for all.
What/who changed my life and why	Sleeping with The Enemy. It showed me that you could leave abusive relationships.
