"I feel connected to everything--to the forests, and cities, and, seas. All life is a pulsing vibration, it sings out in every breeze. Do you hear it too? Or am I floating alone in some vat? Well I hope you will excuse me, for thinking and feeling it was more than that."
After separating from my wife in late December, I feel like I've been hanging in limbo. Help!
I'm 49,fairly slim, fairly attractive, love to: sing, go for long walks (and sing), and dance to live music (I'd love to take dance lessons with the right partner).
I am the cofounder and VP of a non-profit math program for elementary school childen, but I am currently turning a corner in my life and hope to return to my creative roots in songwriting and playwriting.
There is going to be a mountain of work for me to do in the coming months, but I hope that meeting some new women and making new friends will help bring a little more light into my life.
I was thrown out of two elementary schools, dropped out of college for over a year, yet ended up with a Master of Fine Arts degree!
My Philosophy
Be good to all God's creatures because we are all connected. Providing a person or animal with some small bit of joy makes the world a better place for all of us, but don't expect anything in return (that's just your ego demanding a pat on the back). Keep an open heart and expect from people only that which they have already shown they are willing to give freely. Try to connect with your own soul (or higher self) and you'll eventually receive all the support and guidance you need.
What Gives Me Hope
The universe. The unconditional love in my dog's eyes.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
Promote further research and development of systems that convert garbage and sewage into fuel.
What/who changed my life and why
A run in with my elementary school principal taught me to distrust authority figures and to give them no more respect than any other person deserves. This is a lesson that has lasted a lifetime.
