I'm a straight edge vegetarian feminist, but I don't think any of that necessarily defines me. I co-own a collective called The Bel-Tower in Fresno. We're an all ages DIY art and music space that sort of serves as a second infoshop to the city. I spend most of my time there, making vegan goodies, reading and writing zines, et cetera.
Once we all begin to realize our interconnectivity and the systems we're all part of, we can truly work towards justice and equality. I think that through music, DIY ethics, and the right information, today's youth can become aware of these things and create the social and political change we need.
What Gives Me Hope
The Bel-Tower
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
attempt to end closed-mindedness.
What/who changed my life and why
the opening of The Bel-Tower, because it has taught me more about life, music, politics, and people than anything else ever has.
