Well, thanks to this site exposing one's age, you already know I'm no spring chicken!  However, I am a bit of a hippy and have been all of my life.  I wanted to save the planet even before it became popular.

I am blessed to have a wonderful daughter who cares very much for the environment and who introduced me to this site.  She has set up petitions for saving the koalas - I do hope you'll sign!  She sponsors a koala... next on her list are orangutans, whales, elephants, sunbears and wolves.  Put it this way, if its on any endangered list, she'll sponsor it.  She does this, by the way, using her own pocket money.

I hope more and more people come to realize how precious our planet is and that ways will be found for industries to do business without harming the environment. 

So I've joined here to lend my support to all the groups who aim to do just that - support and save the planet!
