What Gives Me Hope The proliferation of grass-roots and global movements to preserve the Earth and our Animals.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Strongly nurture endangered species, end mega-industries like Big Oil,, Big Ag., Big Pharma, toxic mining including Big Coal, stop dumping everything (effluvia, plastic, chemicals) into the Oceans; end overfishing; end most hunting, support Family Planning; educate about the ills of development and destruction of rainforests and other wild lands, protect the rights and cultures of indigenous peoples.
What/who changed my life and why Michael Harner's workshop on Core Shamanism; The Open Center (NYC); my late friend MJMason; Museum of Natural History (NYC); Halina Rodzinski. These were all inspiring teachers and places of Learning.
What Bugs Me "Corporations are People", corrupt sonsofbitches in high office, Too many endangered species!, The christian wrong, Religious supremacist (of any religion), GOP leadership, Faux News and Rupert Murdoch, Destroying the planet !!!, Any one that would hurt an animal  
Passions Working to save endangered species l, Learning about many different things, trees, traveling, spirituality, other cultures, nature, earth, animals

    i'm so happy to be able to send you all these absolutely beautiful rescued dogs from China's cruel barbaric evil meat trade. Just to think of them being boiled alive and eaten is the worst horror and nightmare. I hope they will make your weekend as wonderful as it has made mine Judith, seeing all these happy dogs -I just LOVE the one coming down the slide
