Wild Fact About Me I traveled to Italy by myself at age 18, met my husband who is from Baghdad. We have been married 27 years. I have 2 Sons, 15 and 27. My husband and children are my best friends.
My Philosophy I believe that love is the strongest force in the universe and can with little effort wipe out pride, greed and ego.
What Gives Me Hope I find peace in god, that he is ever present in my life.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by I would stop cutting spending on social services. I would increase spending on community services, education, health and prescription benefits. increase spending for mental health care. I then would stop messing around in foreign countries starting fires that we can't put out. Look at the billions we have spent in Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq alone. Where has the war on drugs gotten us, and where is the war on terror leading us. many americans have no benefits, no education, no jobs, they are overly stressed and getting sick because of it, they are desperate and worried about having no money for retirement, their jobs are being shipped out overseas and it goes on an on. We need to take care of those at home first and foremost.
What/who changed my life and why My husband, the love of my life and my best friend....just because he always loves me and is there for me.
