I am the person next door. I smile, say hello, ask about you or the weather as we pass on the sidewalk. I see a need & I try to fill it. I am an advocate for those who have difficulty or can not speak for themselves.
Although things were not as they should have been yesterday, today the sun rose, and I will try again.

If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
If I were Mayor (Governor, President, or any other leader), I would listen to the last person who had the position before me, I would surround myself with a group of advisors who both agree and disagree with me, and I would get to know the people I am leading.
What/who changed my life and why
The book and person that changed my life is Maya Angelou, "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings." because it was then I knew I was not alone, and that others had civil rights.
