What Gives Me Hope
The only flicker of hope to retrieve our country from the grip of the neocons, is the progressive movement. They have made more head way in the past couple of years then any other group involving the correction to our nations policies by focusing on making the changes from the bottom up and supporting progressive candidates....now if we could only get the groups involved ,there would be peace or at least an open discussion between nations.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
Join all the human rights, civil rights, and liberal political groups into one large progressive movement to establish a direction for all peoples to live without fear of wars, and to provide a secure country able to offer each of its citizens, health care and good educations through a more equitable distribution of incomes, limiting the excess in Corporate wages
What/who changed my life and why
My parents instilled in me from an early age how important it is to be involved with your community, your state and your country.Their favorite saying concerning politics was: You must always keep your eye on politicans because they control everything from the air you breath to water you drink. (Moreless they control every aspects of our everyday lives and most aren't even aware of it)
