In Loving Memory of Jasmine Jean Griswold June 15, 2006 - July 28th, 2008
Jazzy was my best friend. She got out the front door, and ran into the road before I could catch her. She was hit by a car and died in my arms. I miss her terribly. After she was gone, I didn't think I could ever want another dog. But I was offered a puppy that has the same mom and dad as Jazz had. I decided to accept, because I know Jazzy would want me to take care of her "little sister". I named her Reba. She is not a replacement for Jazz, but I love her just as much.
I'm an animal lover and try to do what I can to help fight animal cruelty. I am particularly active against the Seal Hunt. But I am also active in signing petitions for all types of animal abuse. I also sign petitions for other causes I feel strongly about.
"That which does not kill us makes us stronger."
"Don't fear death, fear the unlived life"
What Gives Me Hope
Faith and prayer.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
End animal cruelty, Fix the healthcare plans in American, do that everyone could get the care they need. Do as much as I could to end poverty, Take action against global warming....I'm sure I can think of ALOT more.
What/who changed my life and why
Meningitis. Because I was living a normal, healthy life. I was 25, that age where you think you are invinsible. Out of the blue one day, I got very sick. I was in a coma for 6 days. It was bacterial meningitis. They told my family I would not survive. Well, I DID :D I lost my hearing to meningitis and had to learn to walk again. It was a long road to recovery, but it taught me never to take adantage of anything ever again.
My mother has also changed my life. She has always been there for me, and was beside me 24/7 when I was sick. I never disrespected my mom, even as a teen. I always respected her and learned to respect her more as I got older.
