What/who changed my life and why	Dr. E.O. Wilson and his book "The Diversity of Life" because it is from this book that I learned about the alarming rate that we are losing animal and plant species and primarily from human related causes. Many of these species we know nothing about. Each species is so intricately designed and intertwined with other life forms on earth. Our callous disregard for other life forms on earth (simply because we fail to appreciate them as a value to humankind) is a moral tragedy. The quieting of one bird's song, the extinguishing of one flower's bloom, is stealing from the greatest wealth that can supply hope, laughter, and medicine for our children and it is tearing down the basic structural support for all life forms that exist with us today and that will come after us.
