If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by I would stop all development of over-sized shopping centres and high rises and develop more urban parks and mini-forests that would provide a cooling canopy for suburbanites when those 50 degree (Celsius) days arrive. I would involve local school children wherever possible to instill in them a greater appreciation of nature.
