I am a sassy and vibrant person with a lot of flare and passion. I am unique in every aspect of my life and prefer it that way. I am proud to be a Cuban-American and have one sister. I have always loved animals but now after educating myself, I strive to change the way society treats animals and how we view them also. I would do everything in my power to shut down the fur trade and I would implement laws that would punish animal abusers harshly, with jail time. My main focus would be the animal welfare movement and whatever I could do to make the public pay attention and treat all creatures kindly.

What/who changed my life and why

Wayne Pacelle- President & CEO of United States Humane Society changed my life because when I met him at a small local event, he was down to earth and interacted with his members. Also, he has only been President of HSUS for a short period of time but has made many victories for animals. After reading his book "The Bond" I was inspired to take action and was impressed with Wayne Pacelle new approach by the idea of changing legislation for animals, which is brilliant and has been a great success. This book and this man are so dedicated to animal welfare and they make a difference in the lives of animals everyday and thats why its changed my life, it inspired me to be more like that. Make a difference in the world.
