I wish I could say I love you Wish I could look at you and not have to look away I wish I could hold you And bury my face in your hair
I wish we could walk together Wish I could hold your hand and not have to let go I wish we could just talk And have no secrets from eachother
I wish that wishing made it so Wish there was something else to say Wish you'd change your mind And you weren't going away.

I am a writer and a poet. Let this serve as an introduction, and if you want to know more, read my blogs. I share everything; nothing is too personal. I can't hide from myself, so why should I hide from you?
America seems unwilling to admit that it is living on a precipice. A new aristocracy is forming in the world, fueled relentlessly by the United States. History is repeating itself, as more and more people are added to the category of the "super" rich. They have tens, hundreds or even thousands of millions of dollars, taken somewhere from others who now have less. With the money has come power; immense power which they yield to remain on top and get even more. A scenario which has played out again and again throughout human history, always with distasterous implications. Why can we not see?
All of my Care2 friends are amazing! Among the pages of my friends there are SO many interesting and profound things. Beautiful artwork... poetry... inspirational quotes, I recommend all of the people listed as my friends.
Down with George W. Bush. He is a King of Fools by breeding hate for America around the world. He is a taker of civil liberties and purveyor of fear. World - beware of the most potentially dangerous man in the world, AND the mindset that supports him.
Vote in 2008!! Without a change in leadership, we may be doomed! Barack Obama is the best candidate. He is young and idealistic; as his campaign slogan goes, "Hope. Action. Change."
This page was originally inspired by Brandi M. Dawson. Among my blogs there is an apology that if you ever see this page, you should read. I hope and pray you are happy and well. I hope also that you have found a wonderful, loving man who treats you like the Queen that I did not.
Caring to a fault. Always hoping for the best from people and situations; I will not allow myself to become jaded! Passionate and spontaneous, yet tempered by a responsible nature. DEFINITELY NOT normal!
"We must fight against the spirit of unconscious cruelty with which we treat the animals. Animals suffer as much as we do. True humanity does not allow us to impose such sufferings on them. It is our duty to make the whole world recognize it. Until we extend our circle of compassion to all living things, humanity will not find peace." -- Albert Schweitzer
”[I]t seems to me, the act of writing with serious intent involves enormous personal risk. It entails the ongoing courage for self-discovery. It means one will walk forever on the tightrope, with each new step presenting the possibility of learning a truth about oneself that is too terrible to bear.”
~ Harlan Ellison

"Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices, but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence and fulfills the duty to express the results of his thought in clear form." Albert Einstein
