If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Is it that easy? I'm not so sure, as so many would oppose my ideas and new laws.
But yes, first the would be reform for all slaughterhouses, because I know I could not completely outlaw meat-eating in our country but I could make the lives of animals on the farms and in the slaughterhouses more comfortable and humane while living, as well as ensuring them a quick and painless a death as possible. Nothing like what occurs now. If I cannot change all of the people all of the time, I can at least change their way of doing things for the betterment of the animals.
Next, and off of the subject here, but I would make improving our children's schools a top priority before I went about changing Iraq and the rest of the world.
