I think everyone should live their own life the way they want (as long as it's not causing harm or unhappiness to others.) And everyone should stop trying to push their beliefs onto others. There's nothing wrong with voicing one's opinion but understand everyone's opinion is their own.

If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
Stop all forms of Animal Cruelty and make harsher punishments for those who do it.
Cruelty to animals is a sign of severe emotional/behavioral problems. Many serial killers tortured / killed animals before they graduated to people.
The penalties for animal cruelty are ridiculously low and do not reflect the seriousness of the crime. How can others be deterred from doing these despicable crimes if the penalty does not fit the crime!
I would also make health care cheeper, for people and animals.
Oh, and I'd make Wednesday a weekend day. LOL
