What/who changed my life and why

First & foremost, my daddy...he sufferred in silence while trying to please everyone else. I don't condone it, but I know it was because he loved us so. My son, for unbeknownst to him, he literally saved my life. Amazing 'Grace'...my daughter, for giving me strength to fight...Johnny for his unconditional love and teaching me the absolute definition of 'FRIEND'. We met during happy times for me, he watched as events unravelled, warped and altered me into someone I still have trouble recognizing today. No matter if I watched people walk out of my life because it was all too much to deal with or I pushed them away, he stood rooted in the ground, angry, frustrated, but never faltering.
My Texan folk ALWAYS remain a positive inspiration-love unconditional-strength of family as one. David McCrary,my cousin,the role model he was for many, dying for his country years after 2 tours in Vietnam from Agent Orange. May Our Higher Power hold him and keep him and the rest of my family safe from pain and depression by knowing his pain is gone.
Bill Ward-for stepping up to try to be the father figure I had lost,as well as one of the best male influences in my son's life. He, too, is battling cancer...doing all he can to make each day's focus about TODAY.
All of these people, and I'm sure others in some ways, makes me strive to be a better person...face my inner demons and cast them away...to be strong...to be a POSITIVE role model so others may follow and make it part of their own lives, and pass it on.
