About Me

I'm a 41 year old woman who has always loved animals and who has been a victim of abuse by my 2 former husbands. I am blessed to have found a wonderful man whom I love dearly and who loves me just as much and who would never harm me in any way. I'm currently disabled due to being bitten by 2 mosquitos within 10 months that both carried the neuroinvasive form of the west nile virus with meningitis and encephalitis. I have to take meds because of the constant painful headaches and because of the seizures that came along with the second time I was bitten. My doctor claims that I am her worse case that lived, so I guess I'm lucky to be alive at all, but I know that God put me on this earth for a reason. I've nearly died three times so far, but I'm still here, and I have been doing all I can to reclaim my life as much as possible within the parameters that my disability will allow. The encephalitis caused damage that I may never recover from, but that doesn't mean that my life is over, and I intend to live it to the fullest as best I can alongside of my beloved husband. I also have 4 wonderful children who live with their fathers due to my disability, but I get to spend time with them as much as possible, and I treasure that time and enjoy them as I watch them grow into wonderful young men and an adorable young lady.

due to my disability I don't get all that wild anymore, but I used to raise horses and go on trail rides regularly.

What Gives Me Hope

my husband is what gives me hope... he is my rock and my anchor when things in my life seem to be all out of my control due to my illness.

If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by

I would spend more money on taking care of the USA and less on being involved in other contries except for supporting their wildlife care endeavors. I would also put more attention and focus on helping women and children in need due to the violence in their homes and make sure that the social service workers were doing their jobs right by taking care of the families that really need their help and leaving the ones that are doing fine alone.

What/who changed my life and why

My husband is the one who has most changed my life through his unconditional love.
