Wild Fact About Me I once shared my kitchen with a badger for a week. (A road casualty who needed some TLC before being released back into the wild.)
My Philosophy Conservation is nothing without compassion. Animals are not resources to be 'wisely used' but sentient beings with whom we share the planet and with whom our fate is inextricably linked. What we do to our fellow beings, we do to ourselves so let's take good care of them - not just the species but the individuals too.
What Gives Me Hope That there are so many people who care for animals, people and the planet.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Resigning!
What/who changed my life and why The first badger I ever saw (32 years later I'm still hooked). An article about chicken production in BBC Wildlife magazine (which set me on the path to vegetarianism, and ultimately veganism).
