Social justice is a big part of my life. I ask homeless people what their names are. I pick up other people's litter. Every stereotypical characteristic associated with an environmental nut job would define me - I have hair, wear comfortable clothes, get dirty, sing in the forest, and love hiking.
I am into organic gardening, a vegan who cooks very well, classically trained musician, kind, & accident prone though rarely involve others. I am rude only when absolutely required, can belch loudly, and am painfully honest. I read constantly, always ask Why, and am constantly trying to curb my sarcasm. Heroes include survivors of domestic & sexual abuse, Mr. Rogers, Greta Garbo, & the Green Lantern.
I live with 5 feline roommates who were all rescued one way or another. The Friendly Neighborhood Crazy Cat Lady. I wear glasses, put my hair in a bun often because I am lazy, and I knit. All I need is a rocking chair.
"You may call me an anarchist, a socialist or a communist, I care not, but I hold to the theory that if one man has not enough to eat three times a day and another man has $25,000,000, that last man has something that belongs to the first." - Mary Elizabeth Lease
