Have not forgot about you, your family, staff and ministry.  How is your work going there and the children?  I am always encouraged by your zeal and confidence in our Lord in serving the children there.
    In His peace,

Thank you for your kind words!  Though a number of projects have taken so much of my time since returning from NY, I have had your work and the school in my prayers.  One must have faith that the Lord will see our work done, but we cannot expect to sit back for the Lord to do it.  Faith moves us to action and gives us the confidence the Lord will bless us and see it through to completion.  You are showing that confidence by tearing down the wall and working toward your goal of a permanent structure.  Your actions encourages those around you!
How are the children doing, and your staff?  Let them know
our prayers are for all of you to stay strong and succeed.  You had mentioned earlier that one of the faith based organizations might be providing some funding.  What is the status on that? Become not disheartened, but like Joshua and Caleb don't let the obstacles defeat the possibilities.
    In faith,

    Edward and Eve!

I am impressed of the work you are doing in Kampala for all the poor, lonely and abandoned children!

My prayers will follow you all in sincere hope that your work will be paid off and the children will gain strength both physically and spiritually.

Hi, Edward, it's late but wanted to let you know still in Texas, I don't leave till June 5th.  Have been working late others are on vacation and maternity leave so have had bit more work to do and trying to get all of my projects taken care of before I leave.  Have you see all of the devastating tornadoes we've been experiencing here?  They started in Texas and on up through a neighboring state Oklahoma.  It's just terrible, leveled 2 elementary schools and killed 9 children.  When you see how bad it is, it is amazing many more did not lose their life.
Please keep these families in your prayers.  Christians are not limited by boundaries, when any suffer no matter where our Christian brothers or sisters are on this planet, we are strengthened and encouraged knowing that prayers from all over are going up on our behalf. I pray for your kids and staff, continue to stay strong and help the children.
    In Christ,

Edward, thank you for your kind words in appreciation of all Moms. It truly was a wonderful Mother's Day.  I am blessed with a wonderful, caring daughter and son.  I am also mindful of the sad losses of some parents losing their children to disease or violence, and my heart and prayers go out to these dear ones.  We have to remember and find comfort in God's promise...we will see them again!

Edward, thank you for your kind words and prayers.  I was just as shocked as you yesterday.  It broke my heart to see the aftermath of the violent attack.  I will be visiting there in June when I travel to see my daughter.  It's a beautiful state and there were people there from all over the world to run and to raise money for a charity.
