Wild Fact About Me With Jack Kerouac's "On the Road" as my inspiration, I once drove from San Francisco to New York, largely because I saw a Jack Keroauc postcard in Big Sur that reminded me of a buddy of mine in Manhattan that I hadn't seen for awhile. I thought about just sending it to him, but figured it would be a lot more fun (and would make for one hell of a story) if I just drove across America to give it to him.
My Philosophy Whether you be a Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, Jew, or whatever, such is secondary to the fact that we are all human beings who naturally want happiness and do not want suffering. As the Dalai Lama says, "There are many different philosophies, but what is of basic importance is compassion, love for others, concern for others' suffering, and reduction of selfishness." I believe that religious tolerance is critical for peace on this planet.
What Gives Me Hope The Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Destroy all nuclear weapons and ban space-based weaponry.
