Second major life-changing event: Discovering that I have a life-threatening disease 15 years ago and experiencing its slow acceleration and with it my inexorably diminishing health.

As a young teenager I came to know the Chad Mitchell Trio. They remain to this day my favorite singing group of all time! I just found out they have been performing together again. What a kick! After various changes in members (Chad Mitchell's replacement when he went to seek a solo career was John Denver!), the three I knew and loved are back singing at venues too far for me to go and see -- sniff!
