Man domesticated the wolf and created the dog. Since then, they have been loyal and faithful and would die to defend us. I will never understand how anyone could chain or pen an animal that is so loyal and loving. Please... if owning a dog to you means keeping him/her outdoors chained or penned, don't own one. Dogs are social animals even in the wild... they need social interaction. Chaining or penning them outside alone is cruel. They deserve better and remember, they would die to defend your life.

Many Paths

There are many paths to God. Yours is no more correct or less correct than another's my friend. In fact, each one's path may just be the right one for that certain individual. God knows what He is doing. Do you doubt that?

Only when one truly comprehends and lives by this statement, can Love break free from the shackles of judgment thus allowing one to finally experience the Stillness, the wonderful feeling of inner peace, harmony, and oneness admist the same storms that used to "make" one feel the spectrum of negative emotions such as fear, hate, anger, anxiety, and the pain, suffering, and angst of that monster illusion called Seperation.

HUMAN ANGELS

Was there always just the two of us?
Do you remember just before taking form?
When we decided, to run the gauntlet of terror and pain apart?
Thus began the hard knock life for us,
Born unprepared;
For some, suffering becomes their badge,
For the others, self-respect and honour became our flags.
It is hoped that on such a journey, we would come face to face with the One,
Who would walk us through the many dark nights of the body and soul.
Hidden from us notwithstanding, the presence of the Other was still;
A soothing balm to our cuts and bruises
The angels warned us before we left.
They cried out in horror and came up with a myriad of reasons as to why not;
‘Don’t do this’, ‘wait a millennia’, ‘rebuild your torn minds’,
‘Rewrite your DNA!’, ‘Haven’t you suffered enough?’.
They begged us to listen, citing all the times when we had come Home;
Our hearts shattered and our eyes filled with horror at what we had felt and seen.
But not all raised their voices in a clamour.
There were those who remained silent.
These had faced Culmination with the same stoic determination.
And they would say nothing to detract us from our course.
And like Monkey, we were irrepressible.
We reassured our angelic counterparts,
We calmed their fluttering hearts,
And then we reminded them of who we were.
‘You’ll forget’, they cried out as we drifted to the Staging Area.
‘You won’t know who you are when you arrive on that third rock from the Sun’.
‘Never’, the masculine of God called back to them,
‘I’ll be drawing my wings on the form that I’ll be renting’.
‘Just so you can recognise me’, he whispered tenderly to his feminine half.
She winked suggestively at him and then their journey began.

LOVE YOUR DOG

His eyes look at you longing to be seen
His heart waits for you to notice his screams
He observes the birds so free; they can fly
But all he can do is sit there and cry

He remembers the day you brought him home
Finally a family to love all his own
He jumped and ran and licked your face
He was home as last... his very own place

The days went by and he got in the way
He doesn't understand what happened these days
Did he do something wrong? Did he become a pain?
He lies in wonder of why he's tied to a chain

He would rather be free and given the chance
To be given the love that should be granted
He wants so bad to be in your home
A part of the family and a yard all his own

A nice warm bed to sleep in at night
When all of the family is tucked in nice and tight
God's gift to you is slowly dying inside
His heart growing lonely as he's left chained out of sight.
