I am the Earth And the Earth is me. Each blade of grass, Each honey tree, Each bit of mud, And stick and stone Is blood and muscle, Skin and bone. And just as I Need every bit Of me to make My body fit, So Earth needs Grass and stone and tree And things that grow here Naturally. That's why we Celebrate this day. That's why across The world we say: As long as life, As dear, as free, I am the Earth And the Earth is me.

What Gives Me Hope
It gives me hope that more and more people are realizing that we are detroying out planet, and they are actually trying to change the way they live to better our world.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
start Green Education programs- have gardens in every school, teach kids about composting, teach nutrition/health; make sure that everyone has health care; job programs; mental health programs; housing programs. I would remove all non eco-friendly automobiles from the roads and have them replaced with better, more earth friendly ones.
