What/who changed my life and why
The happy and fun memories from my childhood I will always treasure. My first dog and all subsequent pets, especially the cat who was my companion for twelve years. My personal favorite movie is Run Lola Run. My personal hero is Nelson Mandela. Seeing him speak years ago after he was freed was inspiring. The moment, as a sixteen year old, sitting in my living room, watching elephants being slaughtered in a documentary, and their reacting similarly to humans had a deep impact. Learning that sociopaths are our true scourge on society was revealing.
