The wolf is generally believed to be an ancestor of the domestic dog. Wolves belong to the dog family Canidae, which also includes the coyote (Canis latrons) and the jackals. There are only two remaining species of wolves today; the gray or timber wolf (Canis lupus), and the red wolf (Canisrufus). These two species consist of thirty-two subspecies, twenty-four of which live in North America. Sadly, between six to eight of these may already be extinct. The timber wolf is the largest member of the dog family, measuring up to 6.5 feet in length from nose to tail and from 26 to 36 inches in height at the shoulders. An adult timber wolf can weigh up to 175 lbs. while its counterpart, the red wolf, is generally much smaller and usually weighs no more than 66 lbs. PLEASE HELP SAVE OUR BEAUTIFUL WOLF. THEY ARE PART OF US!!
Wolves have long been admired for their close-knit family groups and social interaction. They usually live, travel and hunt in family groups, consisting of an alpha, or dominant pair, their pups, and several subordinate wolves. Highly intelligent and equipped with keen eyesight, acute hearing and an exceptional sense of smell -- up to 100 times more sensitive than that of humans -- wolves can easily adapt to their surroundings.
Gray wolves were once common throughout the United States' northern Rocky Mountains. But the government eliminated wolves by the 1930s. Defenders of Wildlife was successful in restoring wolves to Yellowstone and central Idaho in 1995. Today, we celebrate the growth of that wolf population to over 200. Send this card to show wildlife your love or show your love you're wild!

I had hair to my waist for 32 years and take pride that I never conformed, but it did come with an exclusionary cost. I'm OK with that but I had strong hopes that it would change. Ignorance is one thing, stupidity yet another. Without the freedom of expression, there is no freedom.
My Philosophy
"All" people should be treated with the respect and dignity of equals. None of us took part in our creation. We were "born". That simple analogy is difficult for "some" people to understand. I believe
"bias", in its many hidden forms, could be the biggest downfall of the human race. It causes separation, exclusion, division, and is the perfect breading ground for "hate". Hate is a crime of the mind, a crime of the heart, and a crime to humanity. Its like "aggression", it serves no useful purpose!
What Gives Me Hope
A few of us are fighting for "true freedom and justice" and understand the difference, because without
one, you haven't the other.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
Leave people alone! Allow them to figure out their own problems. Ignorance, though we hate to admit it, is an essential part of the human experience and growing process. Offering guidance before it is asked for is insulting. Guidance is best served through good role modeling. Judgment serves no one but the judge.
What/who changed my life and why
My mother was a true genius.I suppose many of us would say that about our moms because moms are miracle workers, but I mean of very tall intellect, like Einstein. A literary, her works were published around the world and I feel that she made a difference in many peoples lives. A life long student, she never went anywhere without a book in her hand. [not even to work] I must credit her for mentoring the need to read, my moral values, ethics, and principled life style. My Father for his emotional strength, tenacity to defend the weak, individual thinking, but mostly his great personality.
If I had a nickel for every time my father made someone laugh, I would be a wealthy man. Boldly quick witted
to the point of being embarrassing at
times, but the true spirit of
liberty we all strive for.
