Wild Fact About Me	I am one of the few people of Scottish descent in the Canadian Maritimes who has never tried to learn to play the bagpipes. Also, I am a Canuck who is not an ice hockey fan or player. Surprise, I like the sport of ocean racing.

What Gives Me Hope	Knowing that I can always find or check my direction in life from looking at the stars above.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by	Mayor, eh? I don't know about anything about being a politician. I know I would rather be the navigator of a ship than her captain.
What/who changed my life and why	The autobiography of the great solitary sailor, Joshua Slocum, lost at sea after sailing around this earth many, many times. Farley Mowat's books "Never Cry Wolf" and "Sea of Slaughter". Farley Mowat's "Sea of Slaughter was the inspiration for the Greenpeace and Sea Shepherd conservation organizations.
