Smoldering Tears Mother Earth weeps with each drop of rain, She struggles with every dying breath, Choked of Her very Life and Her own children hold the rope, She bids them to stop but they don't seem to hear. Abused, stripped and raped,Left to smolder,Scorched from her Golden Haired God,Her Sun,Her Lover,That once kissed, now burns with His powerful rays,Their Powers no longer in harmony. His heat germinated the Life in Her womb,Brought creation, love and protection, But alas,Her strength, dwindles with each new morn,And too soon will be the day when She will no longer bear Him sons nor daughters, And the Mother Goddess will drown in Her own Smoldering Tears.
