If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by	Federalize & make all civil rights legal & equal for all!; Nat'l Health Care; Revise Tax Code; Federalize all schools (including Head Start Programs!) & distribute funds equally per child rather than what side of the tracks their parents live on ($ follows the child from school to school); Address & revise Social Security back into solvency; Regulate financial Systems & Institutions, require them to split up the Huge Institutions and put a cap on holdings; Legalize and regulate euthinasia for the suffering of fatally Ill patients & allow Physicians or Health Care Specialists to prescribe meds &/or assist or inform on options to accomplish their wish to die with dignity when they can no longer live with their pain & suffering (we do it for our pets, & Not because we want to get rid of them, but out of empathy and compassion for their pain!); Expand FDA to include supplements & expand study requirements to allow their ability to consider a foreign study if review of said study meets reasonable FDA requirements; Eliminate Electoral College, Mandate employee pension security, guarantee & transparency; Change Election Day to Election Weekend (2day) & allow online voting & same day registration (in person-see Minnesota Law); Limit campaign time to max of 6 months before the election, & create Political Party Group Pools for donations and distribute equally to viable candidates with full accountability of all funds and a maximum cap per party/candidate; Repeal war on Drugs, legalize, regulate (like alchohol & tobacco) & tax marijuana, sentance addicts to treatment instead of incarceration, stop subsidizing Foriegn farmers of drug crops and thier law enforcement, include job education & rehabilitation for inmates while they're serving their sentances; Stop & rescind issuing patents for human animal &plant genes (like Monsanto is currently doing as one of only ever TWO recipients of a Marijuana stamp, & approval to obtain for the purposes of mapping their genomes for ultimate "profitability" of a natural substance or organism!!); Speaking of Monsanto, there needs to be a Major & Fully Comprehensive Study on genetically modified foods & ingredients, as well as the effects their pesticides and herbicides are having on crops, weeds, insects, & The All Important Bee Population and Disappearance!; Eliminate Lobbyists, Revise lifetime benefits for elected officials; Revise juvenile justice system to include serious offenses so all juveniles will be separated from adults and focus on rehabilitation vs simple incarceration; Extend sentances for crimes against children and eliminate statute of limitations for rape, incest, torture, & molestation for all age groups; Limit the number & frequency of filibusters per political party (there were as many in the past Two Years as there were in the previous 200 Years!!) Extend paid maternity care and time for women & men to include early in home health care & baby wellness visitations; Expand FDA to include supplements, & allow trials or experimental treatments, meds, & surgery for fatally diseased volunteer patients; Create a serious and aggressive schedule and timeline for clean air, pollutions, toxic waste cleanup, ozone protection, global warming contributors, require double hull oil vessels, & double/triple secure shutdown & backup protection at quality control points of risk, & hold companies financially responsible for clean up and full compensation & the Management for fines and harsh imprisonment; Set mandatory and aggressive schedule & oversight of Industry efforts to research, create, & implement alternatives to fossil fuels usage; Hold people and farmers accountable by serious fines and criminal sentencing for harm, neglect, or death of domestic animals, wildlife, strays, and pets; Increase domestic products and decrease imports (keep a reasonable balance); Stop for-profit prisons; Sign the Kyoto Treaty and agree to extradition of US citizens to The Hague for war crimes just like every other nation (except us & 4 others); Before we demand UN sanctions against foreign countries we must address & correct the sanctions against us!; Stop & demolish the construction of the wall across the Mexican border (anyone recall Reagan's Famous words "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" about the Berlin wall??); Create a National Program to reduce and eliminate long term foster care & encourage the adoption of older children, multiple siblings, & special needs children - you would cry if you knew that 440,000 children are currently in Foster care & many, many will age out of the system & be totally alone, & unprepared to enter society without family, friends, or support systems (multiple home placements of 10-20 homes is not unusual at all! Sad.); Make transparant & readily accessable (online or printed) ALL Gov't subsidy recipients, domestic, foreign or international; Get a grip & regulate company outsourcing & moves "on paper" only, or an empty (or one manned) storefront to avoid paying corporate taxes - if a company moves "on paper" without also moving it's CEO, CFO, COO, President, Vice President(s), etc., then either they choose to relocate pronto or they are aggressively fined every day they live here & face criminal indictments. As much as I hate to admit it, I'm going to approve these entries knowing there are a cool 500 or so other changes I would make if I were a Dictator - because let's face it, no matter what citizens believe or candidates claim, No One Person, President, Gov't Department, or the entire Congress itself can achieve everything here or on Any list without the full cooperation and bi-partisan efforts of everyone! So let's stop holding the President - any President - accountable for what they simply do not have the authority or power to change or control (including promising to bring gas prices down to $2.50/gal Mr. Romney.!!) by themselves alone, as written clearly into the very fabric & Constitution of our Republic!!
