Every child should know love.

I myself have never been able to find out precisely what feminism is: I only know that people call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that differentiate me from a doormat. -Rebecca West, 1913

Peace is more than just the absence of war. People everywhere seek an inner peace that comes from the human rights to voice their views, choose their leaders and feed and raise healthy children.

About Me I am a good friend, to a fault. I will remain your friend through thick and thin. Happy and Sad. I come from a mixed up family. My parents are fine, but the rest of them are nuts! I love them but I find myself making family out of friends rather than biological lines. My father wasn't around much when I was growing up and I don't have many memories of him. I am devoted to my Grandmother. She is 83 and I know I get my strength from her.

I have 4 children.

I am opinionated but I always listen. I have an open mind and would take in a child of any race. I see racism in this small Oregon town and I wish I could open the eyes of those who judge. I would like to hand them a newborn baby of a different race and see if they cannot see the human being that looks back at them.

There is too much red tape and politics involved in adopting children who cannot return to their biological families. This I would like to change.

I believe that every child should be held, loved and cherished. No child should lay alone in a crib, hungry and ignored. No child should stand alone in life, in a home without love and security. I believe as a Nation we have a lot of work to do.

Wild Fact About Me I know a little bit about a lot of things!
My Philosophy Every child deserves love and a family. A child without love, is a child without hope. A child without a family is a child without faith.
What Gives Me Hope There are good people in the world and the smile on my children's faces.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by If I were President, I would make the world a better place by making it easier for good families to adopt children that need homes. And those homes should be loving and accepting of the bio-parents faults and failures.
What/who changed my life and why The person that has changed my life the most is my 15 year old adopted daughter. She is the smartest, most genuine, loving person I know.

Well, it's the beginning of a new year.  This year I WILL be organized. (ha ha maybe) I'm going to try.  I am caring for three foster children right now.  It is so sad how they get messed up in their thinking between right and wrong.  And the birth family thinks the same way.  I only hope to show these little ones right from wrong, so maybe someday in the back of their little minds they will hear my voice before they make a decision.  That's the most I can hope for right now.  I had a wonderful holiday and I hope all of you did as well.  Happy New Year!!

It is breast cancer awareness month!  I have changed my page to pink in honor of all those struggling or who have lost loved one from breast cancer.

Get your mammogram!!! It is very important!!  Do your self exams!

Men, if you have breast tissue you are also in danger.  Do your self breast exam!  Let your doctor know of any changes.

Breast tissue goes from your elbow to your belly button.  Under your arms, your armpits, your shoulder.

Ask someone you love when their last mammogram was!!!

People who abuse children should not be allowed to have them.

Nor should they be allowed to own a pet.

Children are a gift from God.  Every one of them.
