I've been refusing to sit back and just watch things happen, things that need to change. I have seen things that are clearly wrong, things that have a better solution, and I have had enough of a lot. I would have group discussions to try to alleviate my frustrations, but these discussions on some of these bigger, more obvious issues lead me to obsessing over the matters online. That's when I found out about petitioning online. This is going to be my new line of volunteer work. Creating petitions and passing petitions around that will help make our world a better place to live in. We need to push our world's leaders for change, POSITIVE change.
My best friends were animals growing up. :) When I was 4, I ran off from home while playing in the yard. I hitched a ride on a dairy cow, until my dog, Skeeter, spooked her and she threw me off. I was fine, found later, and returned home. LOL.
We call ourselves the most intelligent life on Earth, but I have observed, I have witnessed, that this does not necessarily mean we are always intelligent. In fact, intelligence leads to arrogance, and arrogance leads to stupidity, eventually, if not immediately.
I'm learning that less really can be more...
What Gives Me Hope
The fact that some countries' citizens have a voice and that they still choose to use it is certainly something that gives me hope. So long as we keep fighting for what is right, what is really right, our world will hang in there. I look around at what is available for help in the communities here in the United States and I realize that although there is a lot of improvements that need made, I am lucky to have been born and raised in America, where there are so many ways, so many places to get help from. I have hope in knowing that there are people out there that care way too much about this planet and its people to sit back and watch it burn.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
If I were President, the first thing I would do to make the world a better place is to start giving back American jobs that were lost by technologies and foreigners! I'd put Regulations and Bans on Industries and Companies for Hiring Work Outside the United States! I would find ways to Increase Jobs within the United States for U.S. Citizens to lower Unemployment, Cash Assistance, and Poverty!
What/who changed my life and why
I cannot credit any one thing or person for the changes that have happened in my life, or for all the changes I will continue to experience. In my eyes, every new experience brings the possibility of change, and all I can do is try to make these changes positive.
