Passionate about most everything I involve myself in. I'm not afraid to admit that I like order and structure or at least know what to expect. It's helpful to be aware of "the Rules". I suppose it just depends who makes them..I like to make some rules too.I wince at "strange" rules. That is why I ask questions and have a need to know more information on how they came up with those "different", o.k. "weird" rules. Then if it makes sense to me, I may or may not follow them. oops. sorry. Did I say that I like good rules, but then again.... sometimes I don't even follow the good ones! Humpf! Well, I can admit It .Can you? "I do stupid things at times".(My kids let me know that. A little too often ,...especially when I'm not aware of it, 'cause it's a habit or then again it's just if "they think" I'm "being like dad." Oh well...such is the human condition....life..misunderstandings and lack of knowledge. We're not perfect, I'm aware of that, although I even get accused of that too! Humpf! I think.... I tend to be practical, creative and resourceful. The more knowledge I get the better. Wisdom is the best of all. Following it is another.....I don't like to waste, I do like to conserve or recycle. I would like to be understood fully. well..on second thought,.. o.k., I suppose maybe by God alone and well.... I am. I would like to understand others just as much. I understand that that takes time and patience, "We will be like Him when we see Him face to face". We as people don't always have the patience needed at the time to understand our own, let alone other's, words or actions, but it would be good if we pressed on to achieve understanding for each other. The more important thing is FORGIVENESS and that I know I need to learn more to grow in my understanding. Sometimes my behavior is lacking, so I need to be kinder. I can act sarcastically and then think I'm funny! ( I know how I learned that one, I caught it!)I'm a bit particular in my likes and dislikes. "I'm a sensitive soul, though I seem thick skinned."(Lion King).I have a lot to be thankful for and am excited to see "what lies ahead," LIFE.
I was in the Army when I was 17 years old until age 23. My husband at the time had wanted me out so when my term was up I left. the next month my unit went to Saudi Arabia. They didn't call me, I didn't call them.
Do the best you can with the abilities and giftings you have and make sure you thank God for everyday . Remember that he cares for all of us and all of our experiences in this life will help us and/or others even when you do not understand.
What Gives Me Hope
The Lord is our protector and close to us in times of trouble. He is our salvation. We need to live by His standards with His help and we will be blessed. When we walk in His ways we have wisdom and can save ourselves from trouble. When we mess up we can repent and turn around to start again. We are loved.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
I'd form committees to help everyone who wants help. No free rides unless you are incapacitated.Teach others to fish instead of doing it for them.Make them useful and allow them to be proud of their accomplishments by rewarding them with their own fruit of their labors. anyone who is constantly messing up needs to have more education and would be required to take some classes at the expense of their own time. No reward for lazy people.Monitor those on prescriptions if they act up .Have mentoring for the ones who can't help themselves.
What/who changed my life and why
"The Path" your mission statement for work and life by Laurie Beth Jones and her other business book. "Jesus CEO" and of course God's Word is the best book of all. Because it helps me steer my course in life.
"Greater works shall you do because I go to my Father who is in heaven. I give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven for whatever you will bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven". Jesus my Lord.
