Enthusiastic, fun, philosophic, artistic, poetic, shape shifting creatrix.
Enjoy the dance of spirit between everything. I am trained as a LifeCoach and artist and currently work as a job developer for a nonprofit assiting people recovering from debilitating mental illness to get back "in the game of life". I have 2 children almost grown and have loved the mommy role except when I didn't. I used to teach art and served as our towns Artist in Res for many years involving myself in all kinds of community building endeavors. I care deeply about many issues globally and locally; I try to balance concern for others with taking care of my own body, mind, emotional spirit self. I like to get in the ocean an catch a wave now and then. I like to think my friends would tell you I am honest and smart, supportive and alot of fun to laugh with.
In 1968 when Martin Luther King was shot and they played his speach I insisted everybody let me know each time it was on.I sat and cried marvelling that he was a doctor and a minister..a doctor of the heart, the closest thing to god I could imagine. I cried and cried & he became my hero...I was 7yrs. old that year.
My Philosophy
No matter what hurdles life presents an attitude of gratitude will open my eyes to new possibilities; the strength of my community,my neighbor, myself
What Gives Me Hope
Good stories of individuals helping themselves and/or others out of damaging situations and into transformational growth.Nature does it too.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
Call for an end to ALL needless suffering beginning with the most gross human rights violations such as torture and unnecesary war situations followed closely by amelioration of all situations that result in extreme poverty;physical death and illness, then we move on to psychologically and spiritually environmentally unwholesome situations.
An empowered team of globally holistic and compassionate philosophers, scientists, ecologists, psychologists, artists, writers, and theologians would be established to recommend appropriate strategies and redistribution of resources.
What/who changed my life and why
Martin Luther King because he was so brave, honest, inspired and still loving(making room at the table for all,in his dream) in telling the truth about what was wrong and calling for change also important was Helen who came to take care of me when I was 6 yrs. old she set an example that you can always be young at heart and she looked upon me with delight and showed me the meaning of love through caring action, sympathetic understanding and enthusiasm over many years .

"What is Life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset."

I wish you dear Friend, a week full of Life and with Peace. With Love Ana
The glitening sun is shining On the sparkling water, The sparkling water is connecting To the blue endless ocean That is great and is as beautiful As a bachelor button flower, So simple and perfect Blue and red Like the sunset sky The glorious sunset That brings peace For me, for you, for all That brings peace to Mother Earth!
... I wish you a weekend full of peace my sweet friend With Love Ana
Each day I try to find a path Between my head and my heart Mind makes words But heart makes you feel them In a world of unexplained mysteries An empty heart doesnt care An empty heart has no love to share A happy heart makes you sing A happy heart makes you smile Some are old and some new Always making you feel something And we wonder how and why because: What is a heart? A muscle that has no pain But beats for you and the world Over and over again...
"If you have only two pennies left in the world, with the first penny you should buy rice to feed your family. With the second penny, say the wise Japanese, you should buy a lily. The Japanese understand the importance of dreaming..."

... I wish you a wonderful week dear friend and, Dream With Love Ana
Little children, never give Pain to things that feel and live Let the gentle robin come For the crumbs you save at home As his meat you throw along He’ll repay you with a song. Never hurt the timid hare Peeping from her green grass lair Let her come and sport and play On the lawn at close of day. The little lark goes soaring high To the bright windows of the sky Singing as if t'were always spring And fluttering on an untired wing Oh! Let him sing his happy song Nor do these gentle creatures wrong.
Let Me Live The darkness is closing in Soon I will be gone Why do I deserve this? I've done nothing wrong. I'm thrown in to a crate I feel so cold and alone I wonder what's next The future is unknown. Hundreds of others around me Screaming for their parents I know they will not come They've been shot protecting us. Everyday this happens Innocent animals killed for money Another day, another kill It's not the one bit funny. Do your self a favour If not for you, for your future kids Save us endangered animals Please just let us live! by Amy Carnes (aged 10) Ana
When I give light I also receive, When I smile I give light to others, they give light to me. It is with the light all of us give, all, that we are free.

... I wish you my friend a weekend full of light With Love Ana
"Someone has said that a friend is a bank of credit on which we can draw supplies of confidence, counsel, sympathy, help, and love. And that is true, for if you have a genuine friend, you possess riches greater than silver or gold. Which, of course, brings us to the other sideof the question: are you, and am I, the kind of friend that others can treasure?"
There's nothing as nice As someone who shares, Your laughter, your secrets, Your wishes and cares, Someone who's there Through your good times and tears, Who stays by your side As your friend through the years.
