Me, my life is ruled by 3 abyssinians, who keep me around just to look after them........though don't think i am doing that great a job sometimes, but hey, am still here.

I was a cat breeder for about 10-11 years , first Burmese, then Abyssinians, and also exhibited at hundreds of cat shows over about 20 years, then later trained as a cat judge.  Had to give all that up due to ill health, and after always having more than 10 cats around, am now down to 3, who i am not supposed to have as i live in a unit.

Am long time member of IFAW, WWF , RSPCA, Wildlife Warriors and Greenpeace, so guess you could call me an animal lover and conservationist.


I live on Redcliffe Peninsula in beautiful north Moreton Bay, just north of Brisbane and  home to whale and dolphin watches. Boats leave our local jetty daily for half the year , and is very popular with locals and tourists alike. Just off shore is Straddie (Stradbroke Island) one of the largest sand islands in the world, it is world heritage listed and mostly national forresty.  The island protects our local beaches for the most part so we have swimming all year round.  Just north of us is the Sunshine Coast, home to Australia Zoo , the Big Pineapple, Underwater World, The Ginger Factory and some of the best beaches in Australia.
