I find, that at times, I have disjointed thoughts full of longing and something else I can't even name. At these times, being alone in my own thoughts is not always a comfortable place for me. Yes, I am a piscean and a natural dreamer. But reality sets in and I fnd that I am shallow, dull, critical and sometimes very small minded. I like to say that I know who I am and that I am in touch with my feelings, but when it comes to delving into the dark places I tend to unhook my safety line, turn off my flashlight and stick to the caverns populated by the people in the gift shop, rather than amidst the bats and their guano. I don't know why I sometimes repress my own emotions, why I don't always let myself mourn over my losses. I am strong, yes, but that secret special place inside is home to a fragile little girl, who is afraid of monsters lurking under the bed, and let's face it, blankets pulled over the head don't offer the same security in the world in which we exist.

I wish life had a backspace button...but I know why it doesn't...some of us would spend the rest of our lives trying to relive one single day/moment and time would pass us by. And if we had a delete button, well lifes lessons learned would be a meaningless phrase wouldn't it?
