I love to give, and love to share from my heart. To me, the HEART is what matters most. I love camping, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, biking, and anything to do with nature. I also love photography, gardening, communicating from the heart, helping other people, trying new things, and much, much, more. My favorite quote is; "so much is lost for the fear of trying"..
Nichiren Buddhism - everything is based on cause & effect, with our thoughts, words, and deeds being causes that bring about correlating effects. We have two goals, our own absolute happiness, not based on anything external, but just welling forth from the depths of our being, and to create a happy, peaceful, world, not based on laws or regulations, but based on unlimited happiness and compassion flowing forth from a majority of people in the world.
What Gives Me Hope
The Buddhist philosophy gives me tremendous hope due to what I've experienced via this practice
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
Treat each and every person with respect, consideration, justice, and equality, encourage others to do the same, while creating the best environment for health, happiness, and well-being to florish.
What/who changed my life and why
Daisaku Ikeda. Because he's written numerous books with over 100 of them being translated into English. These books and the wisdom and encouragement contained within them has helped me change my life in a phenomenally positive direction.
